Just finished watching Point Pleasant. The series was pretty short -- 23 episodes on 3 discs. I can't remember where I saw it, but it was recommended based on another show I liked on Netflix. The series was pretty good. They pretty much ran thru everything you can for the scope of the story they were trying to fill -- Elisabeth Harnois played a young girl, Christina, who comes to realize that she's the daughter of the devil and the whole series is about her battle between being good and evil. She's searching for her mother, who was very religious, and was supposed to be in the Point Pleasant, NJ area. Brent Weber plays the man who falls in love with Christina and tries to help her in her struggle. There are several twists and turns throughtout the series as Grant Show attempts to push Christina over the edge to bring on the apocolypse. If the show would've continued, it would've been interesting to see where they went with it. I will say that I was surprised at the ending. There's a lot to spoil here, so I'll leave it at that; hopefully, I haven't given away too much.
