I first went to
Brio

Birmingham, AL, but the experience seemed to be a lot different -- I liked Birmingham a lot more. I want to say the one in Birmingham was a bit more fancy and not so much a chain restaurant. Maybe that was just my impression at the time, tho -- after all, it was on the same lot as a mall.
Brio in McLean, VA (Tyson's Corner) was decent. The order seemed to get messed up a little, but they were polite about it and I wasn't in a rush, so that didn't bother me. The crab and artichoke fondu was reallly good; lobster bisque was good, but nothing I'd write home about; and, the pork chop I had was decent, but not really as flavorful as I'd like. I admit I wasn't in the mood for a chain restaurant, so my opinions may be slightly biased. All-in-all it was pretty good, tho. I'd go back if there wasn't anything else I hadn't tried, but don't see rushing back by any means. I'd have to say it was your typical restaurant with a typical selection.
