I originally went to The Warehouse
in Old Town Alexandria, VA for breakfast the first day I arrived in the DC area back in July 2006. Honestly, I didn't look at the menu very much, so I didn't realize how lucky I was. That breakfast was very good, but nothing new. I had steak and eggs and a mimosa to wash it down. While walking thru Old Town one evening, trying to find something that piqued my interest, I actually had the chance to peruse The Warehouse's menu. I kicked myself for not doing it earlier because it sounded delicious. For those who don't know, I'm from Louisiana, so I'm always up for a good cajun meal. I don't think I'd say The Warehouse is a cajun restaurant, but it definitely has its fair share of cajun dishes -- probably about a third of the menu, if I had to guess. Everything I've had has been delicious! I've been back 4 or 5 times since and have yet to be disappointed. The restaurant may be a little more expensive than most people like, but I don't usually pay attention to prices; especially when the food is good. I definitely suggest you give it a shot if you like cajun food. Hell, I think you should give it a shot, anyway!
